Let’s talk money — money makes the world go ’round.
While I am not a 100% expert on money, I would love to share how I have kept my money sanity as a Single Mother raising kids who were super active in competitive dance, baseball, football, and so on.
And the real truth. Some months were easier than others and I became a master of moving my money in a way to work for me. But it became exhausting and then I picked up Get Rich Lucky Bitch by Denise Duffield-Thomas and it changed my money mindset tremendously. She recently released her new book Chill and Prosper and I have read it twice already. And really, all of her books are great and you will learn so much.
Back in 2008, I got my hands on I Will Teach You to be Rich by Ramit Sethi and things began to flow in a smooth money motion. I highly recommend getting this book in audio format, for some reason his voice and the way he tells stories will not only make you laugh but you will remember what he says.
We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers is my new fave in 2022. Whatever is stopping you from having seven figures in the bank—whether it’s shaky confidence, knowledge gaps when it comes to wealth-building tactics, imposter syndrome, a janky mindset about money (it’s okay, we’ve all been there!), or simply not knowing where to begin—this book shows you how to clear every obstacle in your way, show up, and glow up. This is a MUST READ!
Talk about BUSINESS MONEY MINDSET — this is the book you want to get your hands on — Jen Sincero gives it to you raw and uncut — You are a BADASS at MAKING MONEY and according to PopSugar “This book truly crystallizes the concept that financial abundance is an inside job—in that it all begins with your mindset—and Sincero gets serious (in the funniest ways possible) about helping you identify your particular limiting beliefs surrounding money.”
Do you have any money books you would like to recommend? I would love to add to my reading collection and, of course, pass them along to other Single Mothers who are looking to master their money.
