… I realized I live a ridiculously amazing life
… I was sexually abused at age 10 by my babysitter’s son
… I was a young author published in a national magazine in high school
… I attempted suicide twice at 15
… won a national Essay contest and a scholarship
… I went to college with $20 in my pocket and no sheets for my bed
… I was raped in college and the administration said basically said “oh well”
… I learned to love who I am as I am and share my love with others
… I broke my right hand and learned how to shoot free throws and jump shots with my left hand during my senior year
… I didn’t touch my daughter for the first 3 months of her life because of post-partum depression
… I finally came to terms with my mom’s death … 3 years after she died
… some girls attacked me in the bathroom and tried to make me lose my baby
… started a business almost 10 years ago with nothing but a vision and my laptop
… I was nearly choked to death because I wouldn’t give someone the keys to my car
… a mentor I respected told me my passion for helping Single Mothers was a waste of time
… I was living out of my car for 6 months and no one knew … not even my family.
… I forgave all the men who had violated my body and created a positive outcome with my story
… I sold out of my first workshop because I wanted everyone to create their own happiness because what happened to them doesn’t mean that’s who they are.
Everyone has a story. Everyone has arrived where they are based on what they’ve been through. Everyone is unique and perfect as they are.
All of these stories make me who I am today and I am perfectly OK with that because I truly live a ridiculously amazing life…and I want anyone who reads this too as well.
With glitter & gratitude,
